Exposure in Teaching

Last August 01, 2018 we were deployed in our respective cooperating school and had our orientation. The principal said that we will not just observe but to verify, reflect and apply knowledge if what we have learned inside the classroom is really happening.

She also asked if we really want to be a teacher and we said yes. The principal oriented us about the rules and regulations of the school. As observers, we are expected to come five to ten minutes before the time of our observation. Using cellphone or any gadget inside the classroom is prohibited for it might disrespect the teacher. Of course wearing of the school uniform and ID is also one of the rules. She also said that she will check our DTR's right after our observation. Lastly, she mentioned that we are not visitors in the classroom, we should help our resource teacher voluntarily when she is in need and when she is not around the classroom.

As a future teacher we should give importance to the rules and regulations of the school and what the principal asked us to do inside their community because what they say and implement is for us.

  1. Yes, I agree that as teachers we must follow the rules and regulations of the school. I also believe that self discipline is the number one trait that is essential to accomplish goals. 😊
